How Primary education plays a key role in the development of any
country
Written by Tahir Mahmood Naqash
Developed countries have improved their education systems. Female
teachers are considered to be the best teachers for teaching elementary classes
because they are well versed in child psychology and can better understand the
needs and anxieties of children. If we talk about our state, then in our state
of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, the government system of education, which supports
70% of the country's population, is even deprived of basic facilities. This is
the reason why the number of primary classes in government schools is
decreasing day by day. While we are weeping over the declining numbers in
government schools, it is also being complained that the quality of government
schools is declining and there is an uncertainty in the results of board
classes. To date, no researcher has tried to find out the reasons for this and
no educator has given his valuable opinion to the Department of Education if
the reasons are sought and surveyed and the quality of education in government
schools is to be improved. So we have to start with elementary education. We
have to launch a systematic system of ECE (Early Child Education) in all
government schools. For this, the new classrooms of the education department
should be equipped with the latest audio-visual aids and the teachers should be
women. Where women are considered the best teacher for elementary classes, the
mother is considered the best caregiver according to the laws of all countries.
Our former government probably worked with the British Council to fill this gap
and by equipping some schools in Azad Kashmir with a classroom for basic
classes with basic teaching aids to see a lot of discussion on social media in
the early days. Met and discussed big sentences but due to lack of proper
planning almost all the school equipment is being lost or has been lost. If
this issue is left out, it is also due to lack of proper planning and lack of
follow-up plan on education policy.
